• You can treat 250 sq. ft of untreated wood with a gallon of PenaShield.

• Apply PenaShield to protect any and all bare wood from termites, wood-boring beetles, carpenter ants and wood-decay fungi. Building code does not yet allow PenaShield to replace pretreated wood.

• PenaShield must be applied to raw wood. Coatings such as paints, stains and sealers must be removed prior to application. Coatings can be added after PenaShield dries.

• If mold and mildew stains are present, the affected wood can be cleaned prior to application.

NEW CONSTRUCTION
In new construction, PenaShield can be applied to all structural wood including timber and dimensional lumber, beams, joists, 2x4s, plywood, OSB panels, i-joists, trusses and sheet rock as well as wood trim and wood molding.
