No, PenaShield does not stain wood
Can I stain, paint, varnish over PenaShield
treated wood?
Yes. Although a wide variety of paints and stains have been
successfully used over PenaShield treated wood, it is always
a good idea to check for compatibility prior to complete
application by coating a small section of treated wood with
the finish to be used. Wait at least 24 hours after a PenaShield
treatment before applying any protective finish. Read and
follow all label instructions before use.
If I treat a
deck, how long do I have to wait before I can walk on it?
You should wait until the deck is dry to walk on it. Depending
upon local conditions, the wood should be dry within 48
hours.
